Interior ministers approve air passenger data deal with US
By EUobserver
Interior ministers approved an agreement for all European passengers flying into the US to have their personal data kept for 15 years in case they are suspected of terrorism or other crimes. Austria, Germany and France abstained from the vote. The European Parliament must still approve or veto the deal.
