Moscow calls for Romanian membership not to hurt trade

Months after an angry diplomatic standoff over the EU’s May enlargement, Russia’s prime minister has called for action to stop Romanian membership damaging bilateral Russia- Romanian trade ties.

During a visit to Moscow by Romanian Prime Minister Adrian Nastase on Tuesday, his Russian counterpart Mikhail Fradkov said that the two should work to lessen the impact of Romanian membership on bilateral trade.
