Fischler rejects claims to reduce farm budget

EU agriculture Commissioner Franz Fischler denies that the Commission wants to cut the farm budget with proposals contained in the mid-term review of the common agricultural policy, recently announced. "We want to maintain the level of support for the farming sector.
