IG Metall demands change in Euro criteria

The largest German trade union, the IG Metall has called for a change in the euro criteria. In a statement in reaction to the Sunday’s election the IG Metall president, Klaus Zwickel on Monday urged the new red-green government to focus on the record high German unemployment and to make the euro Stability and Growth Pact more flexible.
