French newspaper Le Monde reports on fractions within the French Socialist Party over the future enlargement of the EU. The issue was debated for the second time in three weeks on Tuesday. Pierre Moscovici, the party's national secretary, responsible for European affairs summed up the French Socialist position as "being favourable towards enlargement and we hope to achieve the conditions for its success."
