Germans only joking about Schröder

A poll produced earlier this week - supposedly showing that only 51 percent of Germans know what job Gerhard Schröder does - has turned out to be the product of the German sense of humour.

In fact almost 90 percent of Germans know exactly what post Chancellor Schröder holds, but many preferred to give a jokey response when questioned.
