EU seeks global anti-counterfeiting treaty

The world's main industrialised countries are seeking an international anti-piracy plan to stop the abuse of intellectual property across the world. Such an anti-piracy treaty will help "create a new global gold standard on intellectual property rights," EU trade chief Peter Mandelson said
