UN warns on West African drug smuggling to EU

UN anti-drugs officials believe cocaine trafficking through West Africa to reach lucrative markets in Europe is becoming increasingly sophisticated. The organisation's regional head for crime, Alexandre Schmidt, said while cocaine seizures were down, the trade was likely to be increasing.
