Germany to tax off-shore revenues in Swiss banks

Switzerland and Germany are to sign a deal on 10 August obliging Swiss banks to tax income earned by assets belonging to German customers, Spiegel reports. Swiss banks have been in spotlight of foreign tax authorities after UBS accepted to hand over 4,450 account names to settle a US tax probe.
