EU to tax import of Chinese bicycles

Plans by the EU Commission to impose punitive import duties of up to 69.7 percent on bicycles and ceramic tiles from China was Monday backed by diplomats of the 27 EU states, Reuters reports. The duties are meant to counter illegal Chinese export pricing hurting profit margins of EU producers.
