Deal reached on EU energy efficiency law

A deal on an energy efficiency law to bring the EU to its 2020 goal of 20% more energy efficiency was reached Wednesday evening. "The agreement we reached with the Council will only bring a 15% saving," said Socialist MEP Britta Thomsen but noted it was the "best possible" deal.
