Question marks over German U-boats for Egypt

Germany has declined to confirm or deny a report in Egyptian newspaper al-Ahram, citing its top naval commander Osama el-Gendy, that it sold the post-revolutionary state two Type-209 submarines. Israeli officials in the Yedioth Ahronoth newspaper at the weekend said Israeli-German relations have declined "dramatically."
