Eight countries call for EU officials to pay higher pension contributions

The Telegraph has published details of a letter signed by Austria, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, the Netherlands, Sweden and the UK calling for EU officials to "share the burden" of the crisis by paying higher pension contributions. It said the cost of EU pensions is to double by 2045.
