Malta's Borg installed as health commissioner

EU countries have rubber-stamped the appointment of Malta's Borg as the bloc's new health commissioner until the end of the commission's mandate on 31 October 2014. Borg replaces Dalli, who lost his job in a tobacco lobbying scandal, and has promised to crack down on tobacco in a new law.
