The head of Spain's opposition Socialist party, Alfredo Perez Rubalcaba, is urging prime minister Mariano Rajoy to step down, reports the BBC. "His presence is not going to help resolve this political crisis," said Rubalcaba. Rajoy is alleged to have pocketed €25,200 in annual payments between 1997 and 2008.
