Bankers win one year delay on bonus rules

Bankers have secured a one-year delay on EU rules capping bonuses, Reuters reports. The law, included alongside rules on bank capital requirements, will take effect in January 2014 but will only apply to bonuses paid in 2015. The deal was adopted despite British opposition to capping bonuses at salary level.
