Eurozone jobless total hits 12.2%

Unemployment across the eurozone hit a new high of 12.2% in April, according to data published Friday by Eurostat. Greece and Spain remain worst hit by the jobless crisis with 27% and 26.8% respectively, while Austria and Germany had the shortest dole queues of 4.9% and 5.4%

EU Modernisation Fund: an open door for fossil gas in Romania

Among the largest sources of financing for energy transition of central and eastern European countries, the €60bn Modernisation Fund remains far from the public eye. And perhaps that's one reason it is often used for financing fossil gas projects.
