EU to lift trade barriers with Colombia, Peru on 1 August

Bogota - A free trade deal between the EU, Colombia and Peru will enter into force on 1 August and is expected to bring yearly savings of more than €500 million for companies. Customs duties on industrial and fisheries products will be scrapped and trade in agricultural products will become more open.
