No roaming costs by 2016, says EU commission

EU telecoms commissioner Neelie Kroes plans to eliminate all roaming costs for phone calls within the EU by 2016, German magazine Focus reports quoting a senior source from her cabinet. Kroes is tabling new legislative proposals on Tuesday, including on roaming and keeping internet access cheap for all users.
