MEPs want to block banking data transfers to US

The EU should suspend its Terrorist Finance Tracking Program agreement with the US in response to the NSA spying scandal, MEPs said Wednesday. Their request, which passed by 280 to 254 votes, is non-binding, but it pressures the EU commission to act or lose parliamentary support for future international deals.

EU Modernisation Fund: an open door for fossil gas in Romania
