Mini-Eurogroup aims to reach deal on banking authority

German finance minister Schaeuble is hosting a "working session" with his counterparts from France, Italy, Spain, the Netherlands, EU financial markets commissioner Barnier and ECB board member Asmussen, a government spokesman said Friday. They aim to reach a deal on the upcoming "single resolution mechanism" dealing with failing banks.
