Far-right leader fined for racist comment

France's far-right leader Jean-Marie Le Pen was fined €5,000 by a Paris court on Thursday for his racists remarks on the Roma, reports French daily Liberation. The 85-year old founder of the expanding Front National party made the remarks in public. Prosecutors also wanted a two-year suspended sentence.
