EU's credit rating downgraded

Credit rating agency Standard and Poor's on Friday downgraded the EU's creditworthiness from the highest AAA rating to AA+, reports the Associated Press. The agency attributed EU budget policy woes and member states' worsening credit rating outlooks as the reason behind the decision.
