MEPs call for European social security card

A large majority in the European Parliament on Tuesday backed three non-binding resolutions calling for tougher labour inspections in order to tackle undeclared work, bogus self-employment and social dumping. They also asked the European Commission to consider introducing a European social security card to make it easier to exchange data.
