Norwegian MPs nominate Snowden for Nobel prize

Two Norwegian Socialist Left party MPs have nominated US intelligence leaker Edward Snowden for this year's Nobel Peace Prize. The men, Baard Vegar Solhjell, a former minister, and Snorre Valen, said whistleblowing had "contributed to a more stable and peaceful world order," British daily The Guardian reports.
