EU faces new threats from cyber-crime, warns Malmstrom

The EU faces an ever increasing threat of cyber-crime, home affairs commissioner Cecilia Malmstrom warned Monday. "We are witnessing a fast evolution of criminal behaviours and patterns, exploiting technology developments and existing legal loopholes," said Malmstrom on the first anniversary of the bloc's cybercrime centre in the Hague.
