Court clears Anglo-Irish boss

The former chairman of Anglo Irish bank, the bank that collapsed in 2009 and cost Irish taxpayers more than €30bn, has been found not guilty of illegally supporting the bank's share price. Two other senior Anglo executives are still awaiting a verdict about loans to Ireland's then-richest man, Sean Quinn.
