Sinn Fein leader arrested on murder charges

Sinn Fein leader Gerry Adams was arrested in Northern Ireland on Wednesday over his alleged involvement in the 1972 murder of Jean McConville, reports the BBC. Adams says he is innocent. McConville was abducted and shot dead by the IRA. She was a 37-year-old widow with a 10-year old child.
