Kroes attacks Hungary tax on non-stated owned press

EU digital affairs commissioner Neelie Kroes Monday criticised Hungary's tax on non-state media. Kroes says the so-called advertising tax "disproportionately affects" media that do not promote the ruling party, Fidesz. "It is hard to see that the goal is anything other than to drive them out of Hungary," she said.
