Swedish finance minister Anders Borg quits politics

One of the EU's longest ruling finance ministers, Anders Borg said on Monday he will leave Swedish party politics and ruled out becoming the new leader of the conservative party after Sunday's election defeat. "I will try and find a job as soon as possible," he said.

EU Modernisation Fund: an open door for fossil gas in Romania
