EU welcomes migrant tragedy investigation

EU home affairs commissioner Cecilia Malmstrom on Monday welcomed an investigation by the International Organisation for Migration into last week's tragedy when around 500 boat migrants died. "I am shocked by the testimonies of the survivors of the tragic incident outside the Maltese coast," she said.
