Luxembourg to distribute iodine pills after French nuclear plant accidents

A series of accidents at the French Cattenom nuclear power plant has prompted Luxembourg to offer free iodine pills to protect citizens in the event of a serious nuclear incident, Interior Minister Dan Kersch said, according to Luxembourg media. Distribution of iodine pills is standard procedure in France and Belgium.
