Ex-Bosnian Serb leader Karadzic sentenced 40 years for Srebrenica genocide

The ex-Bosnian Serb leader Radovan Karadzic was on Thursday found guilty of genocide by a UN tribunal for the Srebrenica massacre in 1995 and sentenced to 40 years in jail. He was also found guilty for the siege of Sarajevo, but acquitted of the charge of genocide in seven villages.
