European citizens must go back on board

Having heard for fifty years calls for more EU, the European Parliament in Brussels today was entertained by a completely new melody. Nearly all members of the Convention on the Future of Europe, meeting for the first political debate, called for involving the European citizens much more in the decision making process and urged to close the gap between the European political class and the people.
