Serbia granted EU candidate status - draft conclusions

Draft conclusions circulated late Thursday evening at an EU summit in Brussels say that Serbia has been granted EU candidate status. "The European Council "agrees to grant Serbia the status of candidate country," says the draft, which has to be signed off by EU leaders on Friday.
