Merkel takes swipe at Putin on Pussy Riot

German Chancellor Angela Merkel publicly took a swipe at Russian President Vladimir Putin during her visit to Moscow on Friday, criticising the jailing of female punk band Pussy Riot. "Our relationship is mature enough to stand constructive criticism," she said. Putin retorted that one of the girls was anti-semitic.
