EU needs treaty change in the medium term, says Rehn

The EU needs treaty change to complete integration on economic policy, according to Commissioner Olli Rehn. Speaking Monday Rehn said “In the medium-term — 18 months to five years — we envisage further integration involving treaty changes" adding that mutualisation of debt would require further scrutiny of national budgetary policy.
