EU chiefs postpone Japan summit over Cyprus

EU commission chief Jose Manuel Barroso and the EU council President Herman Van Rompuy Friday decided to postpone a summit planned next week in Japan as "ongoing efforts to find a solution to the financial situation of Cyprus require our presence in Brussels," they said in a joint statement.
