Germany seeks stronger data sharing pact

Germany's foreign and justice ministers are seeking EU support in their efforts to scrap the 13-year old US Safe Harbor agreement in favour of a more robust global UN sanctioned data sharing pact that would offer greater personal data protection safeguards, reports the Guardian.
