Study: Eurozone crisis has made IMF less efficient

Changes made to the International Monetary Fund's lending rules during the eurozone crisis will weaken the organisation’s effectiveness in future crises, says a study by the Canadian Centre for International Governance Innovation. The IMF proved to have "insufficient resistance to regional political pressures to delay measures to resolve the crisis."
