Goldman Sachs in pay hike to beat EU bonus cap

Financial giant Goldman Sachs is set to increase the salaries of its London-based staff to circumvent EU bonus cap rules, reports broadcaster Sky News. Goldman partners earn an annual average salary of €440,000 but receive even larger bonuses. EU rules cap the bonuses to the double level of a salary.
