Obama confirms first-ever EU visit

The White House, the EU Council and the European Commission on Tuesday confirmed that US President Barack Obama will visit Brussels for an EU summit on 26 March. It is his first-ever trip to the EU capital, after declining several earlier invitations on previous tours of Europe.
