Anti-euro billionaire quits Austrian politics

Austrian-Canadian billionaire Frank Stronach Tuesday announced he will be quitting Austria's parliament, 16 months after founding Team Stronach, a rightist party campaigning for Austria to leave the eurozone. The 81-year old spent €30 million on the campaign, scooping 11 parliamentary seats in September's elections.

Hungary to push ahead with 'Stop Soros' law on NGOs

The Hungarian government of Viktor Orban has said it will not wait until Friday, to hear a verdict of European legal experts on human rights, before going ahead with its bill curtailing NGOs who work with migrants.
