Eurozone confidence at three-year high

Confidence in the eurozone economy reached a three-year high in January, according to figures released Thursday by the European commission. Confidence was on the rise in major eurozone economies like Germany and France but dropped slightly in the Netherlands. Cyprus and Portugal also showed improvements.

EU Modernisation Fund: an open door for fossil gas in Romania

Among the largest sources of financing for energy transition of central and eastern European countries, the €60bn Modernisation Fund remains far from the public eye. And perhaps that's one reason it is often used for financing fossil gas projects.
