EU appalled by 'torture' of Ukrainian activist

EU foreign affairs chief Catherine Ashton has said she is "appalled by the obvious signs of prolonged torture" of Ukrainian activist Dmitry Bulatov, who told the BBC his abusers spoke with "Russian accents." The escalating unrest on Friday saw Ukraine's military chiefs call on President Yanukovych to "take urgent steps."
