UK and Netherlands file €3.5bn claim over Icelandic banks

Britain and the Netherlands have filed a claim worth €3.5 billion against Iceland's deposit insurance fund over money their savers lost when Iceland's banks collapsed. Iceland says that the failed Landsbanki estate has already repaid 90 percent of the money owed to cover the first €20,000 held by depositors.
