Ashton to discuss Ukraine aid with IMF

EU foreign affairs chief Ashton has told MEPs she will discuss the conditions for potential financial aid to Ukraine with IMF chief Lagarde on her US trip on Thursday. The IMF previously offered Ukraine $15bn but on condition of long-term economic reforms, which the Ukrainian government refused to undertake.
