Schulz causes uproar in Israeli parliament

European Parliament chief Martin Schulz caused an uproar in the Knesset Wednesday when he criticised the Israeli settlements in the West Bank and said they were an obstacle for regional peace efforts. Several MPs left the room in protest and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu abstained from applauding the speech.
