EU allergy concerns threaten Chanel No. 5 perfume

The European Commission has said perfume makers should drastically reduce 12 substances and ban three in order to protect allergy sufferers. Two of the banned items - atranaol and chloroatranol, found in oak moss and tree moss - are important ingredients in the famous Chanel No. 5 brand, Reuters reports.
