Ex-UK spy chief condones Merkel phone tapping

Nigel Inkster, former deputy chief of the UK's MI6, says international law allows the US spy agency, NSA, to intercept German Chancellor Angela Merkel's phone."Under international law, her telephone conversations would appear to be fair game," Inkster wrote in Survival, a journal of the International Institute for Strategic Studies.
